Terry's Take-Out - Quadra Island

Terry makes delicious milk shakes, yummy burgers and fab fries. $59 to feed all four of us. The food is freshly cooked and served with a smile and a warm welcome. We would definitely return.

The food was excellent, we came in for ice cream but the food smelt so good we stayed for an early dinner. The only negative was that when told of a food allergy it was not passed on to the cook, so though the full food item was not on the burger it was in the relish which caused an allergic reaction. When informed (after 2 bites of the burger) the owner looked at the menu board and saw not all toppings were on the menu. Very appreciative of the fact she went to her home to get some benadryl which helped, also there was an offer to cook a new burger which though appreciated was not needed as my friend could not eat anymore. This being said we will be back, the food was great but checking the ingredients one by one,due to touch allergies, has to be done.

This is a tiny kitchen in Heriot Bay, Quadra Island. Teresa knows your likings with a menu to please everyone. Using fresh or frozen ingredients, she supplies generous portions at very reasonable prices. The best milkshakes ever, real milkshakes!

My husband and I visit Quadra Island a lot, and Terry's is always a must-visit for us. Terry serves the best waffle ice cream cones - generous size and great price. I always go for the espresso flake to reward myself after canoeing. With it's old-fashioned menu of dogs and shakes, this place is a blast from the past, and so are the prices. Terry, the proprietor, is a super cheerful lady who always seems enthusiastic about fixing you a tasty treat. Worth breaking your diet for! Highly recommended.
