Very busy spot and no wonder. Absolutely great food stellar service and awesome atmosphere. We happened upon this restaurant while walking around and were very pleased with our experience. BEST, BEST, BEST Pork Burger ever!! Salad and fries were also amazing!! We would definitely...go back again.. View all feedback.
What Νάτια Χριστοφόρου doesn't like about Le Cochon Dingue:
I try to enjoy Cochon Dingue when I'm in town but it's been hit and miss for me. My friends have had steaks and burgers and they have no complaints. I have tried non-meat dishes and they just have something that misses the mark. Most recently it was a quinoa salad with smoked salmon - the dressing was a miss, and I recommend replacing the smoked with fresh salmon. They have some new dishes, I may keep trying because... My family had a perfect breakfast this morning. Crepes & the waffles both came with real maple syrup. Coffee was exceptional as well.
We looked for crepes and waffles for breakfast. This restaurant had both of them and even more :-) The food was perfect as a service.
It helps if you can read French to understand the funny sayings all around the restaurant, but you don't need to speak French, the servers are fluently bi-lingual. The menu is large and everything looks good. We had a hard time choosing when we arrived for brunch. I would like to go back and sample more. The restaurant is large, airy and bright - it makes for a very cheerful visit. Wish we had a Cochon Dingue where we live!
We have a tough family to feed. 2 gluten free, one pizza and chicken strips only. Somehow we found plenty of places in Quebec that could accommodate us and this was my favorite. The waitress was excellent, quick, patient and charming My salad was one of the best I ever had in my 57 years of salads. Carmelized strawberries (who knew?) goat cheese, etc. yum! If I'm lucky enough to return to Quebec, this will be on the list!
My family and I visited this establishment for breakfast on our recent trip to Quebec City. We were there on a Wednesday so it wasn't busy. The waitress greeted us with a big smile and sat us where we asked to be seated. The food was very good for the value. My daughter said she loved the place!!! My son loves the hasbrowns!!This is the second time I've been here and I will certainly go back again when I get the chance.
