Contribute FeedbackThe Charing Cross restaurant received mixed reviews from diners, with some criticizing the subpar food quality and high prices for both food and drinks. However, others had a more positive experience, with one group enjoying a private function in the upstairs room for a birthday celebration. The service was praised, especially Alice who was described as brilliant. The meals were delicious, with the Sunday roast being a standout dish. Overall, the Charing Cross was recommended for its excellent service and food quality, making it a top choice for dining near Waverley.
This is a Friday afternoon relax spotCome on down and grab a beer and a bowls of thick cut crispy chips or the shoestring fries.
Get on down on a Friday afternoon and wish in the weekend with a long deserved ale! This place is relaxing, spacious and has a great coastal vibe.
They added a restaurant and changed the pub menu semi-recently.
Fabulous British style sunday roast (best we've had in oz so far in 2 years!) chef was certainly proud of the food as he delivered to the table himself... and rightfully so! Starters of kingfish and scollop ceviche and house cured ham both delicious aswelll. We will be back.
What a terrible place - at the' special rate 'of $ 128.55 this was no better than a backpackers! Very noisy - no A/C - dirty - no TV - shower completely broken and unusable!
