The food was excellent, with a wide choice, well prepared and presented. Children (big and small) were catered for with paper tablecloths and crayons to keep you amused and create memories for the wait-staff. We left very satisfied and impressed. View all feedback.

Tried this place for dinner. We were greeted with "There is at least a 30 minute wait". Except for a group of 10-15 people and a couple of tables with 2-3 people the place was empty. We were not offered a table, but a place on a couch. Menus were not provided and we had to ask for them. Were were asked if we wanted to order drinks twice though. We left. A surprising find in a small remote west-coast Tassie town - a restaurant that is looking good, fantastic floor-ceiling windows of the hills around town for everyone in the restaurant to enjoy no matter where you are seated.I walked over here from the West Coaster motel after a dreadful meal there and even worse service (if you are thinking about eating at the other place forget it, this is the place to eat - cheaper and better food).I came just before closing and I was a bit too late to get a table but the kitchen decided to work a bit longer after hearing my terrible encounter at the other place. The service was professional, prompt and speedy. The menu was more varied, and in some cases, actually cheaper than the West Coaster despite being a bit more upmarket. The pork I had was cooked to perfection, generously proportioned and the dessert was just surperb. My only regret is that I didn't come here to eat first.

Definately worth a visit here.Friendly service.Delicious Food. What more could you ask for?We had the prawn and avocado cocktail to start followed by the Morrocan Lamb Tagine and Hubby had the Gamekeepers sausages. Both mains were fantastic.Pity we are leaving tomorrow, or we would come back.

On the way out I mentioned that I did not understand what it happening at this restaurant and why we were not offered a table. The answer was something like "we are not putting any orders through to the chef" - I am not sure what is going on at this place.
Beautiful meals and friendly staff. Highly recommended and definitely on the return list of places to dine.
