Had a nice dinner there last night and we all enjoyed everything we ordered. We ordered the teriyaki set for my dad and he ate it all. Legit great food. Must try! View all feedback.
What Rhoda Herzog doesn't like about Omakase:
Decided to give this place a try since the Japanese resto across the street was closed. We were a group of 10. Food was ok, not great, for the price point. Service was horrible. Staff DEFINITELY need more training on how to interact with customers without a frown on their faces or at least feign enthusiasm about their jobs. It would have been understandable if it was at the end of a long shift but hey had just opened... View all feedback.
We waited for 45 minutes to serve our smokers until we decided to cancel it. when we tried to quit, they said they were to give them 3 minutes. and after that they still couldn't use it. So we have paid for what has been served and left, another table that arrived before us, was not served to eat her. bad service, bad system in the kitchen. so disappointed.
Priced it is expensive for taste. okonomiyaki is bland and taste like uncook flour. please stay away from the okonomiyaki.
I had maki, lachs, mistsuppe, katsudon. katsudon is quite dry; lachs doesn't seem super fresh. a little expensive for what it is.
Kenji maki was ordered with the dig. ok long sana kung yung avocado long pinalitan ng mango. pero yung roasted spicy thunfish with ebi salat naging tuna long. not tormented, not sharp and no ebi. if kulang ingredients, alisin sa grab menu. I didn't pay for it.
Another family favorite. Whenever we need a quick, tasty, Japanese fix, this is our go-to. We always come back here for their spicy salmon salad, salmon sashimi, and sukiyaki. I also order from Omakase via Grab or Food Panda, and they always provide completely. From chopsticks to tissue to soy sauce. They never miss out on those!
