What Jorge Atencio doesn't like about The Austral Inn:
Went here for lunch. Nothing special. Standard Pub fare. Beef schnitzel was from a packet. Tiny tiny salad serving - 1/4 of a small tomato and a couple of bits of capsicum and some lettuce . Other meals in our group were ok - but nothing to go wild about. Plates are not cleared after eating. Same for other tables - I noticed that they were not cleared until people had left. "After a long day driving from Arkaroola it was wonderful to be so welcomed to this unusual Bistro. Situated in an historic emporium the food was to die for. Gnocchi soft and delicious and steak perfectly cooked. Meal was finished with a divine panna cotta. This meal will be remembered!"
