I had heard many things about Orchid for many years prior to finally paying the restaurant a visit a couple of weeks ago.
A hidden gem in RaleighMy Wife an I love this place freshest Japanese food by far from anywhere in this area.
They are extremely fast with getting food out. They were always around our table taking away plates as soon as they were empty. I can honestly say I can’t remember when I have had such great service. Food was amazing except for one item (calamari was too chewy, but had good flavor). I highly, highly recommend the tempura. We drove an hour to get here yesterday and I can’t wait to do it again.
The staff is friendly and keep things moving. This is fresh made all you can eat sushi, not a buffet. A great price, good quality and if you have non-sushi friends they have cooked food to satisfy them as well.
