Contribute FeedbackRudy's in Sacramento has been a longtime favorite for many diners, with consistently good service and atmosphere. While some have experienced a decline in food quality over the years, others have had excellent meals. One reviewer was disappointed with the toughness of the lobster, while others had a great experience with the lobster prime rib dinner and excellent service. The restaurant is praised for its friendly and professional staff, great ambiance, and delicious food. From perfectly cooked steaks to generous portions of lobster potstickers and king crab legs, the menu offers a variety of well-prepared dishes. Overall, Rudy's is recommended for those looking for a top-notch dining experience with great food and service.
We've been living in Sacramento since 1989, but this was our first visit to this restaurant. They specialize in seafood and prime rib. Since it was my husband's birthday and he loves prime rib, he ordered the prime rib with lobster and said it was delicious. I opted for the Seafood Louie, which was excellent with very fresh seafood. For an appetizer, we shared a shrimp cocktail that was also good. We enjoyed some wine and dessert, choosing the cheesecake and the banana cream pie (I highly recommend it!). We made a reservation for 5 PM and were seated immediately, even though the restaurant was quite busy, especially for a Saturday night. Our waiter was fantastic. While the prices are on the higher side, they are in line with current seafood and prime rib prices at other restaurants. The decor is interesting and unique. We would definitely come back again!
The food and service were excellent, but the atmosphere in my section felt a bit lacking.
I had an excellent dining experience with delicious food and attentive service. The prime rib combo with lobster tail was cooked to perfection.
The food is absolutely delicious! The portion sizes are generous, even for the small plates. We had plenty left over for dinner the following night. It's a solid five-star experience!
The chicken Marsala was one of the worst I've ever tasted! While the sauce had fantastic flavor, the chicken itself was rubbery.
