Staying in the Westgrove around the corner we decided to head here for dinner. The name itself was the biggest calling point. I thought it was a spelling mistake but according to the chap that served us that really was the name. Which was nice...because that my Dad's nickname for me We had spring rolls, satay chicken and BBQ ribs to start. For our mains we had chicken fired rice, chicken curry and prawn in oyster sau... What User doesn't like about The Tigger:
I had many good meals in the restaurant here over the years and many nice takeaways. However, my last two outliers (last month) were very bad. I loved the chicken cheese rolls, but on both occasions they were literally ice cold in the middle... I had to put them in the oven myself to cook them and make them safe / edible. Will not return to the restaurant or take away. View all feedback.
The new Japanese menu at this restaurant is absolutely incredible. I started with the squid appetizer, which was cooked to perfection and served with a deliciously spicy dipping sauce. The flavor was amazing. The main course, a Soba noodle dish, was also excellent. It was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it. The staff, including the owner Alex, were fantastic hosts. This place is seriously fantastic!
We just moved to the area and arrived for some food. The restaurant was cold 6,30pm in the middle of the week and empty bar another couple. the owner apologises for the cold with the rising bills that affect them enormously. the 1/2 duck pancakes, prawn curry... and satay chicken were delicious! we regularly order food, especially visitors. The pancakes are always a must and we work our way through the other dishes.
Love this restaurant food is amazing and so the service has come to this restaurant a long time and it is always a pleasure to visit staff are very attentive food is top quality soon thanks to you
Location is rough 80s stands and cheap furnishings. They are so creepy at the stand that I could feel the Bergson behind me as they moved. The place was 75% empty, so they all put us together so tight... I have no idea. Food is a reproach if Ireland could not cook, all tastes of diocese, greasy and the sauces are mostly MSG. How they can make a satay sauce without peanuts is lost on me. The two of us ordered a few appetizers and a few glasses of wine €30 Euro ish) and were told the minimum expenses are €15 everyone who left us a little confused. The waiting employees seem more interested in taking away than their customers. Avoid.
Ended up in Clane with work and met a friend fro dinner would we go into Naas or stay local, Leo suggested local and The Tigger Restaurant well he's local so he must know and boy I was not disappointed the restaurant id on the...first floor and very spacious with all the COVID 19 procedures in place. The wine list is extensive and very well priced, the menu looked delicious I was spoilt for choice we decided on a starter Salt and Chilli Platter for 2, on asking the proprietor what would he recommend he steered me towards a dish that he loves Roast Duck Su Zhou which consisted of (Prawns Chicken with savoury sauce, sliced Roast Duck on the top) well when it arrived he was 100% correct excellent choice we washed it down with soemRed and White vino, the restaurant does a good trade over the weekend and a take out menu is available I would recommend and am looking forward to my return visit when this lockdown is over Support this little Gem, it was a great find thanks to my very good friend Leo Nulty.
