A very hot day and a quick cold drink and a counter meal for lunch. All pubs have pies and mash. The Mash WAS NOT PACKET GROT. IT WAS REAL SPUDS. I had small steak well done and it was great. I don't eat steak very often and this was a tender and enjoyable meal with a work mate, so good when I am close again it will be a quick stop over meal. The light beer was a refreshing drink with the meal View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Falvey's Cecil Hotel:
The food here is really good value, but... cost-cutting means you have to order at the bar now, and the chef cooks and serves the food. This hotel is smoker friendly, so if you are a non-smoker you often have to put up with smoke drifting into the dining area from the non-screened off smokers who seem to chain-smoke on the stools on the deck. The pub has grown from strength to strength, the staff are friendly and the food portions are quite large, good value for money. While it's a good spot for family dinner do keep in mind it's a local pub with colourful language at times. That being said we enjoy meals there .
Saw the deck from the road and thought this looks alright but found out it was dedicated to smokers not diners. The bottle shop however is always cheap.
Falvey's has consistently good meals at reasonable prices with good service. The meals are well presented and of ample proportions. The daily lunch specials are really good value for money.
It has a great bottleshop! Cheap meals, worth what you pay. One of the institutions of Goodna, but Goodna has many institutions of course!
Falvey Cecile is a nice Pub and Pub food restaurant is a Goodna. It's is open late until around midnight- 2:30a.m. It is easily found in Goodna. Drive up the main street a find the Pink Pub Bottle shop. 26 Queen St, Goodna QLD 4300 at the lights on the corner of Queen Alice Street.
