Contribute FeedbackTurquoise and Virgils are two popular restaurants in the South Bay area that have received mixed reviews. Turquoise is praised for its healthy and delicious food, with the Baba Ganoush being a standout appetizer. The owner, Hameed, is known for his kind and welcoming service. On the other hand, Virgils has received criticism for inconsistent food quality, with the BBQ brisket being a particular letdown. However, the Memphis BBQ ribs are highly recommended. Both restaurants have their strengths and weaknesses, with Turquoise being a favorite for its welcoming atmosphere and fantastic food options, while Virgils is praised for its friendly staff and overall fun dining experience.
This restaurant offers a small but excellent menu! Renowned chefs from around the world recommend focusing on perfecting a smaller menu rather than offering dishes that are not perfected. The owner, Hamid, has truly mastered the art of his kitchen. It has become one of our go-to spots, and Hamid's engaging conversations as he visits each table truly enhance the overall dining experience. Highly recommended. - Tabitha.
We love this restaurant! The ahi tuna and lamb sandwiches are delicious. Be sure to also have a glass of Rose!
The restaurant offers healthy and delicious food in a lovely setting. I enjoyed dishes such as salmon, white fish, lentil soup, roasted vegetables, rose water pistachio ice cream, lamb filet mignon, and more. Hameed, the friendly and welcoming owner, takes pleasure in sharing his family recipes with everyone.
Thank you, Hameed, for a fantastic brunch experience. This is the best Persian restaurant we have ever been to. We appreciate your hospitality from the bottom of our hearts. Charlie and Luisa.
