La Bamba Mexican - Richmond

This page lists 119 Mexican restaurants in richmond, almost all the same. this is amazingly different. prices are low, service is perfect, attentive, not necessarily all in English, and eating is great. dinge like mol poblano and tamal, even the chips and salsa are good. we took home 2 incredible flans, price at $2.75 we would like to have paid 4 times. they also have a small parking lot.

The food was good, but nothing special- coming from a Texan who eats tex-mex ALL the time. I had a burrito meal and It didn’t taste like it came from a Mexican restaurant, but from someone that’s just learning to cook for the first time…. It was not very flavorful or well seasoned. Also got a Tequila Sunrise and it was very weak, and a tiny glass The servers were nice enough at least .

I can't share much due to never being served. It took 15-20 minutes, and all we ordered was water, and our server was standing there watching us, so they weren't even busy. Do not recommend it if you are in a rush.

Amazing food, wonderful service, and incredible prices! This was my first time visiting and I will absolutely be back. I give it an easy 5 stars!

More than I couldve asked for and 20 years in the business July 13th. I'll be back!
