I ordered takeout for lunch on Saturday from Sakura. It was my first time ordering from them, as I typically prefer to dine in for hibachi. The food was incredibly fresh, high quality, and there was a generous portion size. Everything was packed perfectly, including the soup, salad, rice, vegetables, and meat. absolutely grossused to be the best hibachi restaurant in richmond but went there 06/28/2022. absolutely disgusting. eating was too long, they have cut back more than half the portion size, but doubled the price. I visited the restaurant around 19 clock with family and asked for a hibachi table, they asked me to wait after 20 minutes waiting they said hibachi closed, I saw the person at the reception probably take reservation for someone else with more people, the reason why he gave me was blunt, he said only hibachi closed while I can see him he could never have told me again when I visited her
The customer service is absolutely terrible. my waitress was so pleasant and helpful with the sushi menu. I asked for well done steak, specified no pink inside and that is what was brought on my table. I have asked the waitress respectfully to replace my order and bring this time well done steak. the manager just wanted to make the steak while the rest of my eating sits and get cold while waiting for the steak to cook. I never give my money to this facility. that is unacceptable.
Nice decor and ample parking. Service is very attentive and friendly. Multiple hibachi tables and private booths. Freshly made sushi. Hibachi cooks are very entertaining and professional.
The food was great and the chef was entertaining but it was FREEZING. Absolutely freezing we were all shivering almost the whole time. They said there was nothing they could do about it..? The staff was nice and I liked our server, but it really ruined our experience being that cold the whole time. It was just as cold in there as it was outside.
