Been going here for a number of years. Never stray very far from the Clubhouse sandwich with home fries. But the burgers, fish and chips and more are all good. Very friendly service, always has parking. View all feedback.
What Ian Ondricka doesn't like about Allencourt Family Restaurant Fish & Chips:
Nothing special, crowded and was like sitting in someone's kitchen in the 70's. However the fact that it was crowded meant there are definitely some loyal customers. View all feedback.
Great staff, great serviceFriendly local restaurant that serves tasty homestyle food, with a small town charm.
Intimate fish and chips joint Old old style decor and changed ownership about 4 years ago but everything is the same including the staff.
Great for any meal of the day! Try there homemade soups and omg the Greek salad so yummy. Most things are homemade. Can't find places like this around anymore, they are a dying breed. The fish and chips. Awesome, only thing missing is fresh cut fries and maybe some homemade tartar sauce. Decent prices, they do take out to bad they aren't open 24 hours. It's hidden in the corner of the plaza so keep your eye out.

At lunch time this little hole in the wall, old fashioned diner is packed with more blue hairs than u can shake a stick at. And thats a good thing. They were like 20 somethings when this joint opened! Its a classic old school diner. 1950's ORIGINAL decor, no windows, old waitresses, an old TV in the corner with CP24 on 24-7, complimentary copies of the Toronto Sun available upon request, and and old greek guy behind the open grill. Think about Vic Tayback behind the grill in the great seventies show Alice. Google that one millennials!Neways, this place is known for its halibut and chips but don't forget about their awesome clubhouse sandwiches. Pretty sure they use real cuts from a roast turkey on the triple decker beauty! Great salads too. If u want to go back in time, and want some great old time diner fare, this joint is the place! Just ask the locals, and they'll steer u here. The locals always know best.
