I had a delicious lunch at this restaurant. I highly recommend trying their homemade sausage and the strawberry ice cream crepes. The flavors were amazing and everything was perfectly cooked. I will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Vlado's Charcoal Grill:
JUST DON'T ASK FOR ANYTHING GREENVlado's is an anachronistic restaurant on Bridge Road. Meat for starters, meat for main and don't ask for anything green.Having said that, apart from the caveman aspect of eating such voluminous quantities of meat at one sitting, the experience is a good one. The meat is of a great quality, and if things with blood in them is your bag, give Vlados a go View all feedback.
The service at this restaurant is excellent, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have a great dining experience. The atmosphere is also top-notch, with a cozy and welcoming ambiance that adds to the overall enjoyment of your meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.
I am an American that was working in Melbourne. I was told that the best steak in the city could be had at Vlado's. I was skeptical. After a terrific steak, a very nice bottle of wine and first class service... I was thoroughly impressed. I am not sure if it is the best steak in Melbourne... but it was a very nice steak dinner I would recommend to anyone visiting or working in Melbourne. Recommended without reservation. Service: Dine in
It is an amazing place for carnivores. Sensational steak! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$200+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Different Cuts of Meat
It had been several years since we had visited Vlados and had remembered it fondly. Sadly it did not live up to our memories. Previously the entree course had been very generous however this time it was quite sparce. Their steaks were okay but when you are spending almost $200 per person you have high expectations. I would suggest just skipping the tasteless crepe they serve as their dessert option. I think the time has come for Vlados to reimagine their menu .
This iconic family owned and operated steak restaurant has graced our presence since 1964 and never fails to impress even after all these years. My parent's first introduced me to this Melbourne institution back in 1977 and we haven't looked back since. Professional long serving staff who know their stuff, a simple set menu of succulent, tender steaks with a home made signature french style mustard that I guarantee you'll end up buying a jar to take home, a delicious zesty coleslaw salad, extensive wine list and finally strawberry crepes to die for all in all will satisfy those carnivorous cravings. Vlados is without doubt a cut way above other steak restaurants in Melbourne and it's no wonder it has such an impressive following both local and international. Don't be surprised if you see a television, movie or sporting celebrity dining on the table next to you when you go. It's long standing reputation proceeds itself
