The lunch buffet at this restaurant is exceptional! I always leave feeling very satisfied and happy. The soups, including mulligatawny and others with difficult names to pronounce, are heavenly. There is a wide variety of vegan/vegetarian options, as well as chicken and fish dishes. The naan bread is perfectly cooked as well. View all feedback.
What Kirsten McGlynn doesn't like about Taaza Indian Cuisine:
They lost my reservation and did not have a table for us in the dining room, so we were put in a freezing cold back room, where, aside from the manager coming by a couple times, we did not have a single server come by our table. Tables that were seated 10-15 minutes after we were had their orders taken and food brought before us because they actually had waiters, whereas we had to hope the manager would come by again... Mixed feelings! we stopped for the buffet. I'm new to Indian food, so was not sure what to expect. beautiful building and friendly staff. the experience was just okay. I wasn't sure what I had eaten, and our server was bad and wasn't ready to explain. some of them were really good, some were in order, and there were some I didn't like. If I had to order from the menu, I wouldn't know what her specificity was or where to start.
The best in town!. We've tried all the other Indian restaurants around town and we always come back to Taaza! The naan is outstanding! LOVE love love the Tikka Masala. And the samosa's...I mean, yum!
Delicous. The food was great and we appreciated the friendly service.
A gem in Roanoke!. Who would have guessed this gem existed! If I could, I would come to Taaza on a weekly basis. After trying restaurant after restaurant in Roanoke, I believe this is the best. The service is always courteous and timely without being overbearing. The atmosphere is relaxed and always tidy. The lunch buffet is a wonderful way to try out some new dishes and it is always fresh. This is the first choice for my family and even my friends for dinner dates and lunches. I haven't had a miss plate yet. There is a reason this place is so well recommended, try it!!
Good Indian. Possibly the best Indian in town. But that's not saying too much with only three to choose from and Nawab is one of the three. The service was good the food was very good. I love flavor and spice, and Indian definitely meets that need.
