My boyfriend and I have been looking for new local places to try in town. He is a much picker eater than me, but he enjoyed the chicken teriyaki. Best sushi in Roanoke by far!. By far the best sushi restaurant in Roanoke and I've tried them all. Large portions and a reasonable price especially when compared to other restaurants who offer smaller, less appetizing portions for the same or higher prices. A regular diner to this establishment. Was not here in almost two years, so I decided to come back because I was in the city and wanted something close. I remember now why I love this place! the staff is super friendly and the restaurant is beautiful and clean. they were very busy for a Wednesday night, but our food came fast and it was delicious! loved the cold tofu appetizer, and the whole sushi and sashimi was very fresh. and the sumo roll should die! great place great eating!
The best sushi in roanoke. santiago is a genie cook, and the whole front of the loading team really knows how to take care of them. my drink is always filled, and bubbling is always full during my time in washabi. I recommend the sumo roll. it is everyone the favorite role, is very filling, and so delicious. I'm also obsessed with her fried egg. it's the best I ever had! and they have a tonne great drink options. her plumen wine is to die! when she gets dinner (depending on the day of the week), I suggest to get a reservation. they are always busy and from good reason! always satisfied with service, eating, drinks and environment.

Delicious sushi, very reasonably priced, and served with a great selection of fitting appetizers and drinks. Get started with a miso soup, followed by two rolls of your choice, while you sip from a Kirin Ichiban... It won't disappoint!
Great experience, friendly staff, great food and very reasonable price for everything I had. Sashimi was high quality and the service was fast and consistent.
