Grand Tavern Rochester Hills

Love the atmosphere with the outdoor seating and covered dining area with open area to outside. Food is really good and big beers are a good deal. Staff is pleasant. We have had a server George who stands out when we are lucky to get him. We visit here several times a month.

Went here for the first time last week. The food was amazing! Every dish and we ordered many was hot and fresh. We had a slight issue with the steaks (undercooked) but the rice dishes, pastas and appetizers were very delicious. The service was as good as the food. I would definitely go back there.

First off I wanna say that your hostess (the dark skinned girl with glass is an exceptional from the moment I walked in she was sweet to us. Now I was out of state and I had been in twice before (we were here again for a business trip and I will say you have an exceptional and just all the way around great team. I’m a stay at home parent and my daughter was really testing my limits tonight and I was met with nothing but kindness from your staff. My daughter threw lemonade all over the floor and your busser (the darker skinned guy was on it and just overall friendly to my daughter and me! And then after throwing food and everything all over the floor our server not only picked it up but, also was very kind and understanding to us. I don’t remember her name sadly even after I specifically asked (I think it was Abigail? I couldn’t hear but, she was our waitress and she had short black hair and was just SO freaking great. I had the worst night tonight but, your staff just was sweet to us. I’ve come in three times now and we are always have exceptional service. I really hope you guys take care of the staff you have because, every single person we’ve had has been amazing to us. Also your staff doesn’t treat me like sub human because I have a kid like most customer service employees do. They treat everyone very well and they deserve to be rewarded. Thank you and please tell the staff they’re doing amazing!

Overall a really great place to go! We went for a graduation dinner and everything was pretty tasty. Service was a little slow but otherwise they were really pleasant.

The service was horrible. I sat at the bar for ten minutes before anyone even approached me. The hostess finally noticed I was sitting waiting as well as some other guests. Julia the bar gal was not attentive at all. I even had to get her attention to get a togo box for my meal. The food was great. I had the lobster and goat cheese salad. It was fresh with blueberries and avocado with a tomato vinegar dressing. The parmasan knot was so good, I'd order an entire basket if I could.
