Halfway Restaurant - Rockford

I have never had a bad meal here. The service and staff are amazing along with the food.

Been coming here for along time grew up in greenville now live in Detroit, we stop at the halfway every time we are in town. We had breakfast today my waffle was all doughy,coffee was terrible, people that was seated after us got waited on first. Took for ever to get waited on very unorganized for a small restaurant, other people around us was complaining about there issue. So anyway we will find another restaurant for breakfast when we are in town.

Lemon meringue pie was very good. We stopped there for pie, and to thank them for their kindness, and help to the first responders who were out in front of their restaurant, We were involved in a head on collision Father's day 2022 there.

Excellent food, I could have their fresh jam everyday and never get tired of it. The spinach omelet is the best I've ever had and the rye bread was perfect!

This is usually a favorite spot for breakfast and we enjoy our experience. Today was absolutely awful. We waited 45-50 minutes for our meals after ordering. We weren 't offered coffee refills while we waited and the food was not so great today. The burger meal my husband ordered looked like it had been just thrown on his plate with some unevenly cooked fries and a pickle. My omlett was about half of the usual size, there was no potatoes with my meal and the toast was cold. Our waitress did apologize and told us that the kitchen was chaotic because they were working on a large catering order. Apparently, their catering takes presidence over the customers in the restaurant. Although this is one of our usual stops, it 'll be a long while before returning. We were very disappointed in the Halfway today.
