Ate here for lunch on 11 JUL 2017. Sandwich was delicious with fresh ingredients. Soup was home made and very good. Ate with a colleague on the back screen-in porch. The cafe is in a residential setting so it has a very "homey" atmosphere.Price was higher than your average lunch cafe but worth the money. read more.

In nice weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, and there is complimentary WiFi.

What User doesn't like about Cottage Law Canteen:
We arrived for breakfast in an enormous rain storm. We took the full breakfast. A lovely location and setting, but a few problems. We weren't asked how we wanted our eggs, and got dry scrambled. Also there were only 2 very small rashers of bacon... which was a shame as the bacon was very good. 24 dollars for the two of us, including coffee, was not a bad price. Unfortunately, this place is now closed and there are no plans to open again at this time. but if they do, they must stop for their eier benedikt at this small...

unfortunately they have CLOSED.. another business from village. privided deluciius, fresh meals. their anesthesia is missed.

"To be honest, this place is really worthy of only a single star but considering this is in the middle of nowhere and options are limited, I will throw in another star. Also, the extra star is for the brutal honesty that our server was able to serve up. That was probably the most memorable part of the meal. When we had fired off a few questions to her she paused then smiled back and said she actually doesn 't work here. LOL I actually have just eaten here a few times and I am covering for my friend, I have absolutely no answers for you but I can ask the other servers . Brutal but I can appreciate the honesty. The food is your standard fare of some typical roadside restaurant in the middle of cottage country; burgers, fries, fish and chips, caesar salad..etc. Everything tasted as one would expect; a little homey, a little amateur and a good dose of disappointment when you somehow convinced yourself to believe this may just be that 3 Michelin star burger you 've been searching for your entire life until of course it 's not even close. So go ahead, your hungry if you 've managed to make it this far into cottage country without eating. You don 't have many choices around here and it 's just all carbs and calories that you need."

"My sister and I stopped in for lunch. We sat on the patio by the water, and even in 30 degree heat, we were cool and comfortable! Our waitress was the sweetest person.We shared an arugula and prosciutto pizza and a large garden salad. It was the perfect lunch size for us and so very, very delicious."
