Geordie's Cafe and Art Gallery

I suddenly came across Geordie's and only expected a small little coffee shop but they had far more to offer. A great range of drinks, cakes and food suitable for breakfast, brunch and lunch. They also had dinner menus but I was not able to stay for dinner. A great place.

The food here is always lovely, from their breakfasts to their dinners and even their muffins! The service is always friendly too.

My father treated my best friend, my boyfriend and I to a lovely brunch here and I must say I had a great vegetarian feast. I also enjoyed a dirty chai and the service was great! The staff were lovely. I hope to have the opportunity to return sometime.

Geordie's Cafe and Art Gallery is about a 30 minute walk from the main settlement on Rottnest at Thompson's Bay. The food is not always good, but it's not always bad. It's open for lunch and breakfast, and for dinner on the weekend. Fine dining is not really what Rottnest is about, it's more of a fish and chips place. The Art Gallery features some local artists. By the way, if you are visiting in winter check if the cafe is open before you make the trek from the settlement out to Geordie Bay, the cafe is not always open.

I was really impressed with this cafe, it is definitely worth making the trip across by bike or bus is better than anything in the main settlement. Really friendly staff, great coffee, great location and good food. Also do meals. Very impressed.
