"Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, helpful and excellent service, delicious creations and still relatively affordable for such a high standard. The guests were also friendly and relaxed.This was our first time enjoying „fine dining“ with courses and the gentleman at the bar was very helpful explaining us newbies on how to enjoy the food.Highly recommended and we‘ll be back for sure!"

"The six of us visited from California and ended up booking a last-minute weekend lunch at l'Argousier. We walked in the place with no idea of what was ahead of us. In hindsight, we were in for one the best dining experience we have had...during our stay in France. First of all, be warned: this restaurant does not try to impress with fancy dish descriptions or overused regional folklore. The place exudes an unpretentious and no-non-sense atmosphere, and in this carefully crafted air of simplicity a duck breast is just a duck breast. Yet it was clearly the most delicious duck breast I have had in my life. We all ordered prix-fixe menus (Decouverte and Gourmand, with different options for everyone). We all came to the same conclusion: every dish, and every minute detail about each dish, exceeded our expectations. We are talking metropolitan elegance, original and meticulously-crafted cuisine, and top-notch classy service (at a price that does not drain your wallet, kudos on that too). A few details, just to hit it home: we let the staff recommend wines for us (clearly, they know their pairings really well), we had two kids with us, and y.o., they enjoyed their meals just as much as we did, and we were surrounded by a diverse crowd of customers (biz lunch, families, tourists, couples). Also worth mentioning: they apparently change their menus seasonally, and although they do not use this as marketing gimmick, they use fresh, seasonal, local products. The place is clearly worth the detour. If you have never been to a top-notch French restaurant without the fluff, the intimidating atmosphere and the ticket, then you owe it to yourself to go out of your way to try this place."

"Wir sind kurzfristig auf der Suche nach authentischem spanischen Essen auf Galicia Tapas aufmerksam geworden und können dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Der Chef ist sehr nett und unterhält sich gerne mit seinen Gästen - ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Den Service kann man als sehr freundlich und aufmerksam bezeichnen, das Essen ist sensationell lecker und von höchster Qualität. Wir kommen gerne wieder!"

"Tja, was soll ich sagen? Das Positive: Das Essen schmeckt super lecker. Eine kleine Karte, gepaart mit höchster Qualität.Das Negative: Der Service lässt einen spüren, dass man gar keinen Wert darauf legt, dass man als Neukunde nochmal kommt und die sehr gute Küche ein zweites Mal genießen will.Doch der Reihe nach. Bei der telefonischen Reservierung teilte man uns mit, dass man nicht für draußen reservieren könne. Auf Nachfrage im Restaurant gab es dann die Begründung, dass die Anzahl der Plätze nicht im Verhältnis passen würde. Dumm nur, wenn bei zwei Leuten, die beide jahrelang in der Gastro gearbeitet haben, versucht wird, sie für dumm zu verkaufen. Generell halte ich es für gefährlich, dass man Menschen bzw. seine Kundschaft für dumm hält.Weiterhin wurden wir mit einem spürbaren Mindestmaß bedient, während andere, wohl Stammgäste, sehr auffällig umsorgt wurden. Kleiner Tip: in einer Pizzeria, die zudem im Niemandsland liegt, sollte man alle gleich behandeln.Fazit: wir werden nicht wieder kommen. Das Essen hätte es verdient. Wer allerdings auf snobistische G'schaftler steht und sich auf herablassende Art freut, ist dort gut aufgehoben. Schade!"
