Schloss Halberg - Saarbrücken

I have been here before whenever I visit in the summer time. I love their food and especially the location on the Hallberg. Their garden is just the perfect place for a family lunch as well as a romantic dinner. The children can explore the large garden while the adults relax and the food is always superb. I am not convinced with the indoor restaurant, it does not have the same atmosphere, but having a lunch or dinner in the garden is on my list every time I visit. The standard here is Michelin level so I keep coming back and enjoy time after time!

We spent a couple of days in Saarbrucken after a trip along the Mosel and Rhein valleys. This restaurant was the best of all restaurants we visited during our vacation in the area. The restaurant has a beatiful location in the Schloss Halberg with big windows overlooking a green garden. The service was perfect. The beef was delicous, one of the best we had tasted for a long time, the sauce and potatoes matched it well. Their crepes Suzette made at the table were the best we had ever tasted.

We had a good time at Halberg Schloss! The frame is sublime, the service is treated and the staff is adorable and in small care The meal was hearty and particularly delicious, thanks again to the Chef and the whole team!
