eat here when they come with a positive attitude; they will offer the stage, they will provide the actors for the game. I have eaten here 3 times, 1996, 2018, 2019 and every time it was great wein and eating that I am honestly grateful to eat. So, do not come with their world view and stress, please let them “you” in the car with the windows slightly cracked. it is food theatre; order a glass and get some great food. View all feedback.
What Hector Benedetti doesn't like about Moxie Restaurant:
Had literally the worst food experience I've ever had here. Waiter was condescending, food was awful (I was served the bloodline of a sturgeon, and oysters tasted like mud). If I could give it a zero I would View all feedback.
Service was impeccable. The food was great. I had the seafood pasta. I believe the seafood was a bit overcooked, but overall, I would comeback again.
Excellent, excellent, excellent service, food, and ambiance. It is patently clear from the conversations throughout the restaurant and kitchen that the attentive owner and staff care deeply about the dining experience of all their guests. The experience is worth the high price point. I will certainly return if I am ever back in Sacramento on a weekend. A little on the pricey side, but it's hard to complain about this place. The head waiter is very entertaining, his assistant is very attentive. It's a romantic atmosphere, also good for birthdays and other celebrations. Most of the parties that were there on the same night with us were also celebrating.
Love this place. The secret is to order off the verbal menu, not the paper menu. Iykyk.
Very unique dining experience! Food was impeccable, service was...different! But in a good way! Enjoyed our evening!
