Contribute FeedbackOnce you go to this restaurant, you are immediately impressed by how beautifully decorated this restaurant is and how unique it looks. It is definitely far from a cottage feeling how the restaurant makes good use of the room. Trust me. It looks much bigger than outside. There are seating and seating on the ground floor. The left side of the restaurant contains flat seating, while the right side as well as the front side of the restaurant contains grounded seating. Who decorated this restaurant has done a powerful good job because I was definitely impressed by the decor, as well as using the choice of coloring. (The blue wall on the back was striking. Unfortunately, this is about everything I can say about Thai Cottage when it comes to the positives as their customer service and food were not all great. The waitresses were dressed in Thai costumes. I think it was a first for me to meet waiters in a Thai restaurant serving Thai costumes. The costumes were beautiful and allowed customers easy to find out who was a waitress. The waitresses were excessively chatting, and I don't think they were chatting much with customers when I often saw that they were chatting with each other behind the counter where the cash registers and drinks were. When I was there, there were only two waitresses who worked and often raged them. Perhaps their customer service would have been better if they had more attention to their work than waitress and focusing on their customers than themselves. I don't joke if I say whenever they found time to chat, they would chat in Thai. It bugged me because, when and where they were spinning, they were unable to keep an eye on all their customers. They could only see customers fed at the front of the restaurant, as they were a half-wall behind them, who kept them from eating customers in the back and eating some customers around the flat seating area. I probably wouldn't have taken care that they could talk so much if they could pay attention to their customers while chatting Chit, but it was something they couldn't and didn't do. Before I go to the nitty gritty from their customer service, allow me to change gears and talk about their food. Your food comes first delicious. That means, until you realize some bites later, that the food you thought was sparingly loaded with MSG. Expect to drink plenty of water with your meal or expect to feel annoying after eating excess MSG. No healthy place to eat! Now that I talked about her food, let me get back to customer service. The bill comes and guess what? My mom and I realize we were wrongly charged. Our dishes were apparently higher than the price in the menu. We did this to the waiter and looked at her menu. We were right that we were charged higher than we were charged. The waitress told us that the price in the menu was false and that the price we expected was a special one. This answer from her threw us off because 1 we ordered the special and 2 if the price was "false", why didn't she tell us while we ordered? My mother told the waitress that it was wrong that the restaurant mislead customers by making a price in the menu and a higher price on the customer's bill. The waitress seemed stupid. She said sad, but never apologise not to inform us before that the prices on the menu were wrong. She tried to change stories by asking: “How was the food, though?” (Uh...bad, just like your customer service! We decided to leave this mistake from Thai Cottage because we thought that was our first and last visit to Thai Cottage. And indeed it was our first and last visit to Thai Cottage. If you thought I was done on her bad customer service, I'm not done yet. The waitress gave us the wrong change. It would not be so much of a problem if they gave us more changes than we expected, but they gave us less (less changes than we expected. We had given her a $100 bill and she gave us the course about the change. Since my mother had already encountered her hoopla when we were overloading our meals, she immediately decided to check how much change we came back when the waitress returned to us with our change. I guess she had a feeling that something wasn't right as she was doing business here and she was okay. We have addressed this to the waitress as soon as we had received the additional amendment we had received for the first time. Unethical, least to say. I would be honestly not surprised if there were many customers (before and after us, who were overloaded for their meals, but are simply not aware because they do not review their bill. I would also not be surprised if there were other customers who did not receive the full amount of change they were accepted. Thai Cottage's customer service is terrible, least to say. Transport, the restaurant is easily accessible by bus (Howe . There is also a parking space available, but parking can be easily filled up as there are other companies near Thai Cottage. Remember that this mine review reflects my visit about 4 years ago, so that their customer service can actually be better and their food can contain less MSG now. Note: This restaurant is called Thai Cottage and not Thai Palms.
