What Rebekah Gottlieb doesn't like about Cafe Ricardo:
Basically I got an empty sandwich that cost me $16. This was suppose to be a pulled pork sandwich but there was at best a tablespoon of pork. Last time I go there. I gave it 2 start for the cleanliness, period. View all feedback.
They only have the choice in the best cooking tools. they look around and they will certainly find what they need and even a small gift for a loved one.

When I arrived for lunch, I was told that I should have made a reservation two weeks ago. But they could seat me on the terrasse, where no reservations were required. It was a balmy September day, so I sat on the terrasse. The other...server arrived and, seeing the second menu, asked if I was going to be joined. I said yes. She then asked me if I wanted to order! I told her that I would wait for my friend to arrive...This initial welcome put me off, but, whatever. On the terrasse, we are seated across the street from an IGA food store, which decided to turn on its ventilators. For about 15 minutes, it was like sitting on a tarmac, with a plane ready to take off. Not good. And the food. Well, I had the gravlax with cold fresh pea soup. It was average. Very difficult to eat, as it was served in a bowl but with long mint tendrils and leaves, which could not be cut (because of bowl). Overwhelmingly minty, too. Plus a glass of wine and a chocolate cake dessert, lunch was $44. Expensive. I will not go back. Too much attitude and not enough substance
Small but trendy place to enjoy a desert and tea or go for brunch. I recommend the breakfast pizza, the deserts are fantastic and they have an interesting tea selection. Its somewhere in between holt renfrew Cafe and Juliette et chocolat. There is a patio...with heaters and the staff isn't pushy and doesn't rush you out the restaurant. The decor is simple but chic and it is very luminous (it's attached to Ricardo's store and desert shop). It's also right off the Victoria Bridge, so it's very easy to access.
You know : food is ok. You can get the same thing in any coffee shop within 4 km. You know : I will just look at Kitchen TV shows.....
