From the second, we walked in the door to the second we left. It was perfect. It was a perfect evening. Our waitress Shelly was excellent. The food was phenomenal. They had a couple extra special items that they were serving tonight last night and they were all excellent. I cannot wait until we get to go again. View all feedback.
What Alexzander Emard doesn't like about Goose & Gander:
Portions were small. The grilled chicken was dry and the potatoes were kind of a joke. Maybe there was a big tablespoon on the plate. The pork chop was good, but it was $42 without sides. View all feedback.
Food, service, and ambiance were very nice. Especially great service, our server was very attentive and kind. Beautiful old building and cool little speakeasy downstairs. We’ll be back.
This was our second time at Goose Gander and it was another great experience. The dining room has a good vibe but we like the outdoor seating on a nice summer night. Our server was friendly and helpful, which is such an important part of the experience. The Burrata and heirloom tomato appetizer was excellent. The salmon entree was also fantastic. The skin was blackened and meat cooked perfectly. We love having coffee post-meal and the French press was welcome. Our waiter made sure we didn’t feel rushed. This has become our favorite neighborhood spot in St. Helena.
Best drinks and personal service one can ask for. #1
