Morgane Pub - Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

Two-and-a-half years later and this is still a great place to eat! Just like others, we arrived and the place was full (a good sign).

We really enjoyed our meal here at the Bistro When we arrived, they were full, but sent us to the pub in back and we had a nice drink in the patio.

Great pub behind bistro, with nice shared terrace. Really good pub vibe. Barkeep was friendly and helpful (food menu was in French only, and he cheerfully said, "I can help you with the translations if you need it.") Properly poured Guinness on the deck with an appetizer was perfect for a mid-day stop. Will go back. Menu (and food being served my neighbors) looked good. Pub far, but who's complaining?

Place to go at least once a year especially for the Irish Pub in the backyard. A little pricy but still affordable. Nice atmosphere. Soccer players congregate there.

We booked a week in advance for four people. When we arrived the assigned place was so restricted that we felt in the back of a sardine box. Since we couldn't offer better we changed our restaurant. I find it irrespective for customers to clearly favour the number of places to the comfort of their customers. It's very unpleasant to eat almost in the neighbor's plate and be forced to raise other customers as soon as someone wants to get up because there's no room to move. a pity because I know that food is good but I hated the experience and I will not go back there because I doubt that my grievances are important enough to air the place. van
