We chose this place because we were looking for a more simple French menu. We could not have been happier. Make reservations if you want to sit on the patio in the old village. We sat inside. We enjoyed the Leek Soup each and shared the Pate, Mussels and Frite and the Escargot. Exactly what we wanted with a clod rose. Excellent. Family owned and run. View all feedback.
What Rolls R doesn't like about Au Coin Resto Pub:
Unfortunately, this was the worst service experience I can recall. There was no greeter for our reservation, and we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated at a dirty table with glasses that we had to clean ourselves. View all feedback.
Our B&B recommended Au Coin in Mont Tremblant village and four of us ate lunch there on a Saturday in early August 2017. We were seated on the outdoor patio which overlooks the main street of the village. Our food order included a vegetable panini, tuna salad, tomato bocconcini salad and a soup of the day. The food was good. The service was casual.
We stopped for lunch at Au Coin while we were in the village. We sat on the patio and the staff were very quick to shelter guests from the rain that was on and off. We were seated quickly and the staff spoke good English. We ordered our food and it arrived a short while later. We both had sandwiches and fries. The sandwiches were good but the fries were a bit cold and tasted like they weren't all that fresh. Otherwise everything was as expected and we had no complaints. There was nothing spectacular about the restaurant but if you're looking for an easy and relaxed option for lunch, you probably can't go wrong here. The prices were reasonable for the area.
Walking around the village today, kids wanted some icecream and we wanted a drink and some food. We bought small cones for the kids at an icecream stand next door to this restaurant and tried to sit on this restaurants patio for our drinks and food. Kids icecreams were almost done.....Waitress who greeted us was unfriendly, had us wait while she went to speak with someone inside - the proceeded to tell us that we couldn't sit on their terrace to have drinks and food as the kids still had part of their icecreams....Totally ridiculous. We would have been outside and kids were almost done. Certainly unfriendly and not family friendly.

Stopped in Mont Tremblant during our bike trip. This place looked popular, so we decided to see if it lived up to this fact. We were not disappointed. Great service and great beverage selections. Our food was only finger food, and it was good as well. Definitely a place to go to unwind.
