Freshly caught local shrimps. We were expelled from two separate locals to Lang's who said it was good for seafood. When we came there, it was not much to see, but they have their own shrimp boat, so that the shrimps are caught fresh every day and are not shipped. I have the black shrimp with granite and (excellent) fresh salad with house of blue cheese. It was delicious. My friend got the grouper with sweet potatoes... View all feedback.
WOW... just... The only thing that is wrong with Langs is that it is not open on Sunday or Monday! I'm visiting the area for a month, and now I want to eat at Lang's as often as I can (without making mistakes as obsession: . I had the steamed shrimp lunch, and I have to say it was PERFECTION! The food was hot! (In fact, the very nice waitress warned me not to burn me. The fresh shrimps were from this world. Many pages to choose, and no charge for a side salad as one of these pages. Oh, and the delicious, delicious fresh Hushpuppies do not count as a side, they come with each plate. I can't say enough about how much I like Langs. I don't know why so many people have problems with the price. I found it very reasonable for this quality. I make a special trip from Jacksonville, FL to eat here in the future. From all choices for seafood in St. Mary's, this should be your choice!

In my opinion, $16 is not expensive for fresh, locally caught shrimps with two sides, but I come from a more expensive city locked in a country. The grouper was a little more expensive, probably because they didn't catch him. I would recommend this place if you were in St. Mary's.
Go for the view and repair your seafood. When it comes to food, I was happy. The Captain's Platter has enough variety to save you before choosing a favorite basket and actually comes in a small and great option, something I know should be a no-brainer that is better, but if your table is only for two and you do not want to be full on the same level as Thanksgiving night, then it is the perfect size to have no remains. Portion size aside, the grilled version was seasoned well and the scallops and fish were also well cooked and nice and delicate, not gumy. As far as the ambience is concerned, the interior was not what I expected for the price class, I -can understand, argue for the price under the condition that it was fresh seafood, but other than that that that the interior felt very casual, undetected and was like in a huge cave of outdated fake wood cladding. Luckily there are HUGE windows everywhere so you can enjoy the view of the swamps, and there is a pier that runs directly from the restaurant for a nice short walk to the docks.
A little pricy, but the seafood is fresh, and well prepared.
Long had the best roasted and grilled shrimps! The service was great and I think it was a great value. The view is beautiful, right by the water. And the park and the marina nearby are a great place to watch the sunset.
