We visited on 3 x separate occasions during our stay, and each time, the welcome was friendly, the waiting staff were professional and very pleasant, and last but not least, the food was excellent. Not overpriced and lovely presentation and choice View all feedback.
What Carole S doesn't like about Grand Cordouan:
We have eaten here before and were happy with our meals but today I have to say that the service was under such pressure our relaxing lunch was a disappointment. The food and wine were fine, the view of the estuary and lighthouse excellent if only the service had been better organised. I'm sorry as I rarely give negative reviews but we would not go again. We visited this resto for lunch as we have done many times before. The food was very tasty and well presented always a great choice of fish . The waitress was very friendly and efficient and we had a very pleasant dining experience with a great view. Reasonably priced too and it is open all year whereas many of the others are not.
We had the 25€ menu , with a beer, without alcohol cocktail, 1/2 bottle of rose wine and two coffees, total73€, which we thought very reasonable. We found the staff pleasant even tho it was very busy and they had a lot to keep up with, enjoyed our meal and have already reserved a table for next weekend.
Very affordable menus (20€ between dessert dish) and super excellent. every time we leave the bottom on holiday we only go to this restaurant.
