Contribute FeedbackBabanis Restaurant offers a mixed experience of Kurdish cuisine. While some patrons rave about the flavorful Chicken Dowjic soup, succulent beef kebabs, and generous portions at reasonable prices, others express disappointment with overly salty dishes and inconsistent service. The ambiance is generally welcoming, with friendly staff and a packed dining room. Highlights include the aromatic Kurdish bread and fresh salads, though some consider certain items overpriced and others not up to par. Overall, the restaurant showcases authentic flavors, but potential diners should tread carefully when choosing specific dishes. A visit may yield both delightful and underwhelming experiences.
I discovered this place today and I can’t wait to return! It looked very unassuming but the food was delicious! Loved their Beef kabobs that came with Lentil soup. What a treat! Please don’t close this place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It can be difficult to find Kurdish cuisine, but it is truly a hidden gem. The flavors are diverse and will tantalize your taste buds. I highly recommend trying the Kurdish Salad, especially with some Jaajik on the side, and the Dowjic soup for a burst of lemon flavor. Don't forget to enjoy some Kurdish tea as well. This spot is perfect for lunch or dinner, and the staff is incredibly friendly and willing to offer recommendations.
Amazing food! This was our first time trying Kurdish cuisine and it did not disappoint. The restaurant has a very authentic feel and is clearly popular with the locals. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Our dinner was exceptional and we will definitely be returning. Just a heads up, they close at 8 but they start putting the closed sign on the door at 7:30, so make sure to arrive by 7 pm at the latest.
Everything we had was amazing and I’ll be back to try everything I didn’t. Was especially pleased with the atmosphere and I wouldn’t pass on the baklava which was delightful
