We had the “Formule” which was 22 euros for a starter and a main course. There were a wide variety of local options and we really enjoyed our food. The cost was very reasonable given the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Friendly staff. Would recommend View all feedback.
What MsMacSF doesn't like about Casa Româna:
We chose to eat here based on the stellar reviews. Portions are large and we only ordered two salads and a main, which was more than enough. We found the food to be fine but not stellar, but perhaps we just ordered incorrectly. The restaurant was busy and filled with French families. We appreciated the staff's patience with our poor French and the warm service. View all feedback.
Delicious meals and nice staff! Booking in advance is recommended. Try the apple tiramisu. Delicious!
Excellent restaurant which deserves its rating. The difference between this establishment and the gaggle of garish eateries on the main drag of the town is obvious. A professional welcome, fresh tasty local food served promptly and good value for money.
The food was good, fresh and tasty! The restaurant was very busy so the service was a little slow but you will definitely enjoy!
We had a warm welcome and a very pleasant evening. I ordered the Daube (a beef stew), which was the plate du jour. Even though one of the less expensive items, this was beautifully presented and, more importantly, was delicious. I would certainly go there again.
Nothing wrong with this restautrant, the food was good, the service was good, everything was fine but because it is in the Michelin guide you expect a little bit more. To my taste it was not outstanding, nor was the meal especially nicely presented. But absolutely good enough and the price was not shocking either.
