Contribute FeedbackSooo good. Everything beautifully cooked and delicious.... The ambience too was delightful and the service very attentive...
Even after pre-warning of a gluten free requirement, all they could offer was vegan tofu! Tuna starter taste was overwhelmed by capers. Mackerel main course alternative with tiny potato decoration was too strong with no accompaniment for balance. The only good thing was gf pudding rhubarb and raspberries but my fellow diners had three chewy and tasteless choux balls. Wine prices unrealistically high. Staff overly attentive but lacked finesse, plates cleared before all had finished. Very unimaginative and poor value for money.
Food and service were excellent. We turned up without a booking but it wasn`t a problem To start with we had marinated tuna and then rabbit. Both were melt in the mount experiences and couldn't be faulted. The only fault I had was that when we asked for water, unlike other restaurants we visited, we were not asked if we would like tap water, instead a branded bottle of water was served which at €6.50 a bottle was a bit steep
The menu holds wide and delicious offerings from land and sea. If you only eat vegetarian food it was easy to, at least, do a three course dinner. Extensive wine list with offerings from all ”corners” of France and Bordeaux in particular. On top of it all, very friendly and knowledgeable service.
Found by accident, had superb value for money “menu marché” Salmon tartare, beef bernaise and chocolate mouse. Very good organic red wine and coffee. Food and service both excellent, set menu only €20 for 3 courses. 10/10.Merci.
