This place is always great! Service is always superior! Had the fish, shrimps, fried oysters. Appetizers were the Gator bites and the fried mushrooms everything was perfect. One of the four white fish had bones. The only reason why my assessment was not perfect. The corn bread was dry yesterday and the bones in the fish. This restaurant is always clean and spacious. The food wasn't nasty, but it wasn't good enough for me to want to go back, either. The place looks rundown, but it wasn’t dirty. Everything from the video game console to the hand sanitizer dispenser had an “Out of Order” sign on them) The staff was friendly, and they seemed to have a good following of customers who go there because of the staff’s customer service. The staff were very friendly. It’s a family atmosphere. The lunch prices were great. I was expecting soulfood/Cajun, but it was more home-cooked. The greens tasted like they were out of the can and had too many onions. The fish was good just not well seasoned. My husband’s pork chop was not fresh and bland. The black eyed peas were ok. Overall, the food was not seasoned enough to be called Cajun.
Had a good time with family here. Delicious food, excellent service and great atmosphere.

Good food at goood prices definitely recommend alligator is good but not cheap but the catfish was out of this world
