Forbes Island - San Andreas

We made a reservation, which was confirmed, only to show up and have the entire restaurant be closed

I went here with my husband for the first date after the wedding. This is a great place for romantic dinner. We had dinner at the udnerwater restaurant which is very cozy and the couple can easily get lost into each other starting with wine. After the dinner we went to the light house and beleive me the city, ocean and the bridge everything is very beautifuI at night from the top of this light house. I always saw this place but never thought this such an amazing one. I would definetely say this is the place if you want to surprise your guy. he'll love you more

Disappointing experience...as a local San Francisco resident, the term tourist trap comes to mind. Food good but service average at best we were crammed in a small table and from the start, the service was spotty. After finally making a reservation and dining at Forbes Island, this one is not on our repeat list

The restaurant is rather like a tourist trap atmosphere, but then of course it is off pier It's literally build on a dock and restaurant is under the water line. And that's where the trouble begins. You immediately are hit by a moldy, mildew smell. Not too appetizing. But once you get used to it , food is good. Place could use a good cleaning. Dust off all the junk on the walls and ceiling. Scrub off the portals so you can actually see the underwater world. It has its charm, but if your looking for a nice place to enjoy fresh west coast cuisine and scenic bay view, there are many other great choices in the area

This place is a lot of fun, great venue, great experience. Take a boat to the island, be a pirate for the night. Food was decent, good deal course menu for Had a blast in this themed restaurant
