Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant offers a wide selection of food and drinks, with tap beer receiving positive feedback. However, some dishes like the fried chicken sandwich and Jaeger Schnitzel left customers underwhelmed with bland flavors and unusual spices. The noise level in the restaurant was a concern for some, making it difficult to converse with dining companions. Despite mixed reviews, the service was highlighted as excellent in several instances, catering well to different party sizes and accommodating special occasions. The decor and history of the place added to the overall experience, with generous food portions and delicious flavors standing out for some diners. The venue seems to cater more to a younger, louder bar crowd rather than couples seeking a quiet night out. Overall, the restaurant offers decent food with some standout dishes but areas for improvement in terms of ambiance and flavors in certain menu items.
I recently had the most fantastic German food at this restaurant. I spent 4 years stationed in Germany, so I have high standards when it comes to German cuisine. The Pork Shank was cooked perfectly, and the sauerkraut, red cabbage, and mashed potatoes elevated the meal to legendary status. The meal was complemented by some amazing Hefeweizen beer. The service was also exceptional, fast and friendly. I even received a complimentary beer due to a misorder. This will definitely be a must-stop for me whenever I'm in this city.
The German food at this restaurant was delicious and very enjoyable.
This restaurant is very popular and tends to get crowded. The beer selection is average. It is recommended to arrive early if you prefer a private table.
Nice hidden gem. Casual German restaurant with friendly, informative, and quick service. Food was excellent but filling.
Food is really not good except for tater tots. Good bar and good service. Good place to hang out though.
