Contribute FeedbackLas Canarias offers a mixed dining experience, with moments of brilliance overshadowed by inconsistency. While some guests rave about the delicious brunch and attentive service, others find the limited buffet options and overpriced menu disappointing. Signature dishes, like the Bread Pudding French Toast, have garnered mixed reviews regarding execution. Cocktail strength and meal quality, such as the filet mignon, have been noted as underwhelming for the price. However, exceptional servers receive praise for their recommendations and camaraderie. Overall, while Las Canarias can shine on special occasions, it struggles to deliver a consistently high-end dining experience.
We have eaten at many excellent restaurants, but the service, menu, and presentation at this restaurant were on par with the best we have experienced in both the US and France. It was a truly enjoyable meal. The focus here is on the customers, and the service was not intrusive. We will definitely make a point to dine here again before we depart town!
Booked on Open Table and was not told that there was a special night with the boat parade and buffet. Had a group of 7 and paid $125/person plus drinks and was not advised or informed until we sat in the restaurant. Open table should have let me know.
Food was delicious and loved the surroundings. Come on!
A great, quiet place to have a delicious breakfast while overlooking the Riverwalk! Make sure you find a reservation or stay at this hotel as they do not often go-in- the service was impeccable and gracious breakfast on the Riverwalk is difficult and we were so relieved to discover Las Canarias!
We had a lovely breakfast. Unfortunately it had rained and outdoor seating was not available but we had a table with a view through the open doors. We shared the Bread Pudding Banana French Toast and it is decadent definitely enough for two. Be sure to balance it with protein! We would recommend.
