Dong Baek - San Francisco

I hadn't been to this restaurant in years, but I was craving multiple bowls of naengmyun. It was delicious, and the kimchee jun was good as well. I visited around 3pm and it was pretty quiet. I wonder how busy it gets during peak times. I hope they are doing well.

The flavors were great and the portion sizes were generous. Although the sundubu soft tofu soup had slightly smaller seafood portions than I'm accustomed to, it still satisfied my cravings!

I absolutely love this restaurant. The food here is delicious. I am not Korean, so I cannot speak to its authenticity, but based on my experience of being there for 30 days, it is truly amazing.

I had the fish roe soup here (and requested that the broth was replaced with water due to dietary restrictions) and it was nice. However, the sides could definitely improve. The lady who served us was nice though and was kind enough to suggest that all broth can be changed to water.

My go to place to pick up my Korean/Chinese foods you know the Jjangmyun, jampong, shrimp roe pork tangsuyok, fried chicken etc. deep in the tenderloin but now slowly becoming a restaurant row. I find this place accessible, fast and good. Definitely recommend the gab Jjangmyun and Jampong to go. Decent amount of food the satisfy your Korean street food cravings.
