Contribute FeedbackAt Fino, diners can expect a charming and intimate experience enriched by delicious food while acknowledging some service hiccups. This cozy restaurant, located within a hotel, offers a diverse menu with standout pasta dishes, though the ambiance can be cramped for comfort. While patrons rave about the flavorful specials and attentive servers, inconsistencies in service and timing have been noted. The atmosphere invites romance, making it suitable for special occasions, though diners should temper expectations regarding service efficiency. Despite some mixed experiences, the overall dining experience at Fino, including its reasonable price point, makes it a worthwhile visit.
The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere and the culinary experience was extraordinary! The food was delicious and there were plenty of options to please everyone dining with us.
We visited this restaurant for the second time during our stay in San Francisco. We loved the atmosphere and the service was excellent. The food was delicious. It's also conveniently located within walking distance from the Hilton in Union Square. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening without a reservation and was able to sit at the bar. I ordered the linguine con salsiccia and found it to be decent. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience for me.
My friend and I visited this restaurant after the New Year's celebration, albeit a bit late for a review, and had a lovely, albeit slightly romantic, experience. The service was reminiscent of a small, San Francisco establishment, and we initially struggled to find seating without a reservation. However, thanks to the hostess on the night of February 19, 2011, we were eventually able to secure a table for two. I usually base my restaurant reviews on what I ordered and unfortunately I only have a duplicate copy of the receipt, so I will try my best to recall our meal. I remember ordering a California red wine for seven dollars, and my friend enjoyed a delicious shrimp pasta dish. I believe I had a salmon dish from the special menu for around $25, but I can't quite remember the details. Despite my fuzzy memory, I would recommend this hidden gem of a restaurant, located in the Andrews Hotel.
I recently ordered takeout from Fino and had an appetizer salad and gnocchi. The staff was very friendly and efficient with my takeout order. The salad was delicious, but the gnocchi was just okay. The sauce on the gnocchi was a bit watery, but it was still tasty. Overall, it was a good experience and I plan on returning soon.
