Loaded clam chowder bowl. Sourdough bowl was buttered and toasted delicious. I don’t feel like there was much clams/seafood, but chowder was pretty tasty. Seating is not well suited for groups larger than 4. View all feedback.
Small place, delicious food. We tried spicy chicken sandwich, tuna melt, onion rings, Calamri, coffee and few baked goods. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic. If I had lived here, that would have been my place for food.
We were in SLO and talked about the best Clam Chowder we ever had at Splash Cafe in Pismo Beach. We were looking for directions and were surprised to find a Splash Cafe about 5 minutes from our location! We arrived at 6:00 on a busy Saturday night. Luckily, SLO Café has more seating than Pismo Beach. The staff was also very efficient and friendly. We had two chowders in a bread bowl with one side of curvy pommes. The Chowder was even better than we remember! The roasted garlic bread tip was the best. We had to order an additional Quart Chowder to refill our bread bowls.
My husband and I made a trip to San Luis Obispo for a Renaissance fair and were told by friends that they came here for dinner. We had the Clam Chowder and the Mexican chocolate. It was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! The workers were very polite, the restaurant was clean and the service was fast. We definitely recommend eating here.
OMG! Love comes here. It was a year since I was in the area, but I was in town for an event, and I just had to make a stop and get some of their famous clam knowers, never disappointed! Make yourself a favor and make it a point to stop and get some!
Everything was sooo good!!! Dog friendly area too.. when i’m about to leave i ended up getting another cup of chowder…best taste ever.
