6 stars *my favorite restaurant in the world* these people are the best. I love her chuka. After trying everything on the menu, there's only one handful of things I wouldn't order again. super friendly staff. clean facilities. beautiful menus. delicious beer. this review does not do their food right, but the longer I write the hanger I get! only con: they get a bit expensive. still totally worth it. What User doesn't like about Yu Raku Japanese Chinese:
Yu-Raku is ran by a Japanese chef. The food tasted fine but it was lacking. Today I had the tonkotsu ramen $15.50 and a side of small fried rice $8.50. The ramen $15.50) was served with a lukewarm broth containing two pieces of resilient pork. I would have preferred the meat to be softer or maybe fattier so that it melts in your mouth. The rest of the ramen toppings were forgettable, 1/2 of an egg, fungus, green onio... View all feedback.

Edit, come back to this place while the ritter pricy is, it is also very good. the tonkotsu is tasteful beyond expectations. it's my favorite wheel.
Authentic Chinese restaurant in Japanese style from a Japanese chef. 80% of the customers are Japanese. my favorite Ramen Square in bay area.
Yu-Raku differs from any Japanese, Chinese or ramen place on the half island. you eat is consistent and your menu is easy. the staff is warm and friendly. geduld is very rewarded here. you usually get a dish at a time, but eating is great.
Edit: came back after more than a year and several other ramen restaurants tried; and had the miso ramen $12.50. Didnt like it, doesnt have as much multidimensional flavor as the tonkatsu, (now $13.50) it just felt salty to me. The noodles were good, cooked firm, the egg was also fine, the meat looked a bit different to what I'm used to in other ramen. My companion got the tantan and that one was so much better: spicy, salty, and a bit sweet from the ground pork. I'd get this one again, except its $15.50 which is a bit pricey in my opinion. Service is good, restaurant wasnt very busy on a Sunday. The quality of the ramen is good, I probably shouldn't have gotten miso, but I didnt want to spend much more money on a more special ramen and thoguht the miso would be good enough already. Original: Good tonkotsu ramen~ we got 3 bowls, mine without garlic, and they were delicious. Plenty of noodles,2 thin pieces of pork, some seaweed and a soft boiled egg. The bowl is $12, there are a couple more economic bowls (shoyu, miso) for $10.50 and some special bowls that go up to $16. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes other than ramen, like rice bowls, fried rice, appetizers (gyoza), etc. Service is correct and nice, the restaurant was almost full but we were seated and served very fast.
