A wall of vinyl albums shows you the musical aspect of the restaurant. Food was very good, main dining area with the wall of plants and three-story ceiling is awesome. Location super easy near centro.
One of the best meals we had in San Miguel. Service was excellent! We knocked down our bottle of wine by accident (our fault) and they gave us a courtesy glass. The scallop crudo and burrata were fantastic, the lamb was also exquisite! Make sure to specify how you want it cooked. The butterscotch pudding for dessert was also delicious. It was a pleasure to have a meal there! The only downside was the base from the club next door which was very loud.
Delicious food, unfortunately no smoking allowed.
The restaurant is mentioned in some guides as one of the best restaurants in the city, and this might be misleading as it is a nice trendy restaurant with simple food, but not a fine dining restaurant. On our evening there were a lot of people and it was fun for people watching. The staff were friendly, but casual. The food was good, I had a tuna tartar as starter and then a regular burger, both were very good. The dessert was also good. Good drinks, I tried the margarita and it was good. Overall good trendy place with simple good food.
Superb! I have gone to The Restaurant for at least one dinner on every trip to San Miguel over the years. It's still my favorite for a special night out, knowing no matter what I order it will be delicious. I love the braised short ribs and this time the shrimp cakes with spicy avocado relish as appetizer were great. You can never go wrong with dessert. It's all delicious.
