Great place to catch the vibes of the Agnes Keith house and time period. It is an experience to enjoy a high tea in the tropics on a mountainside while looking at a manicured lawn. After climbing the 100 steps to reach the summit, the discovery of an English teehouse was a moment of rettung. the restaurant was empty and I was served immediately. the ambiente brought me back to colonial british times. we could have been in the highlands of india or sri lanka in 1939. I enjoyed the teeset for rm33, which was more than enough for 2 people. I will return for the tee, the view and the ambiente. highly recommended for every first visit in sandakan.
Eating is delicious and place is beautiful! a bit different from what I expected to see most likely by kovid. the staff are friendly and friendly considering that we come in a big group. eating is very nice, especially the scenes and tee would like to repeat again in the future!
It is about the mood. old school English feeling takes it back in the time. sandakan itself runs on another set of speed (slower) so they take their time and take a deep breath as they eat some decent food here.
Breathtaking view and good eating, we choose afternoon tee, the rm50 for two people in the value of the price
Super scones and a great iced coffee. Whilst I recommend sitting outside to enjoy the view of Sandakan, check out the inside for some cool historical bits and bobs.
