found this on trip advisor, 2 km away but as we were camping on the other side of the lake it ended up being a 20 km drive and we were a bit worried, in our motorhome, as the lane got smaller. We managed to...get the last suitable parking place and I'm so glad we did. It's beatuful when you walk in and the staff were really friendly. The waitress fortunately spoke brilliant English so could explain the specials menu.... View all feedback.
Because this restaurant is just a little off the well beaten tourist track, it knows it has to try just that little bit harder. It does and it succeeds admirably. Had 3 lunches there on a recent trip to the Wolfgangsee as a couple,...with kids and with friends and each one was excellent. Really helpful friendly staff, a varied menu with specials that changed regularly and a location on the lake that was conducive to a long, laid back enjoyable meal. I suppose it helped that the weather was glorious, as eating inside just wouldn't have made the most of the restaurant's fabulous location.
There is a choice of indoor or outdoor dining (weather permitting). The dining area next to the lake is extremely popular so be sure to book! The menu offers a good choice of dishes with fish a speciality. The food is excellent and very well...presented. The staff are always friendly and attentive and speak very good English. Highly recommended.
Definitely worth a visit, the food was delicious and reasonably priced with stunning views over Wolfgangsee. We really enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend.
We were there 2times and we enjoyed delicious classic meal like schnitzel with superb potato salad and also modern cuisine like home made ravioli with mushrooms, lamb with sweet potatoes. Plus excellent service and lakeside view.
Lovely lakeside patio, casual with an upscale touch. All the four different fish dishes we ordered were perfect and beautifully presented. The staff spoke several languages (including English). The place is fairly small and fills up quickly, so it's worth calling ahead. A lovely experience all around. Highly recommended.
