The miso soup is flavorful, and the rice in the sushi is perfectly seasoned. The hand-made sushi and dishes like sashimi, tempura, and sushi rolls are delicious and worth the wait. It's a lovely spot for a filling and pleasant meal, even if you have to wait a little longer than usual. The authentic flavors and cozy atmosphere make it a favorite among many diners, and definitely worth revisiting for a delightful dining experience.
Feeling nostalgic so on a whim, went back to check out the restaurant; last time we were there was yrs ago after my child graduated frm SCU; remembered food was pretty good and pricing was very reasonable; however, this time around, meal combos were so-so; service was still ok; not a lot of diners on a saturday at so was kinda nice where it wasn't crowded or loud; all in all, very disappointed.
It's been years since the last time i visited this place, the food and service are still exceptional everything is beyond my expectations, if you're looking for traditional Japanese cuisine around the bay area this is the place, we'll be back soon.
Friendly, family run restaurant with excellent food served. Service could be more friendly, but the owner couple is taking care of the guests like a mum.
The light was so bright our eyes hurt after dinner, which ruined our experience. Otherwise the meal was beautiful, the people so nice, an authentic experience.
Hacho was amazing. The most traditional Japanese restaurant I have been to in the year I've spent in the Bay Area.
