Typhoon - Santa Monica

We will miss coming to Typhoon. Thanks for everything!

I feel like I got ripped off for having the consideration to visit this restaurant during its last days. The food was OK but the service was terrible. Entrees came out first. Appetizers dribbled out over the next hours at a glacial pace until we just decided to give up. One of my friends was so incensed he just walked out. The right thing to do would have been to offer a discount. A sorry for your trouble. We had problems tonight. Nothing. No consideration. Perhaps it's best that this place is going out of business

This historic iconic landmark at the Santa Monica Airport will be closing on due to the City of Santa Monica running tenants off the airport. We have enjoyed this restaurant for years and yesterday was no exception. The food was very tasty, the service attentive and the view enjoyable. It is a shame private pilots will not have this restaurant to enjoy after tomorrow.

A wonderful place to have a great dinner, a glass of good wine, and watch airplanes takeoff and land.

Great place to view take off and landing of small aircraft! Music good when available but please replace the dirty worn curtains with plastic bags tied around them and remove the dirty strips of cloth hanging from the ceiling as you go to restroom area. Even if you can't afford new replacements toss the old worn out eye sores... I hesitate to recommend as is otherwise love the location, view, music and menu!
