Food was good but service was below expectations and certainly not Michelin standard. The dining room was very crowded and noisy on a Saturday night. Upon arrival, the server didn’t ask about dietary restrictions so we ended up getting food that we had to return. Everyone was rushing and we were getting run into on the hallway all the time. What Don Camillo doesn't like about Plumed Horse:
The experience that you expect for a Michelin star restaurant was not there. We went for a birthday dinner and all they brought was a candle on a plate written happy birthday with chocolate syrup. Even normal restaurant do this on a cup cake or on something smaller. The food was ok. I will not go back. View all feedback.

My compliments to The Plumed Horse. My spouse and I celebrated our anniversary tonight with the Chef's tasting menu. The food was amazing, delicious courses well presented. The service was seamless, Manny, Emilio and the team in the dining room were gracious, attentive and knowledgeable. They explained each course and the service was warm and engaging. The restaurant is beautiful, the dining room with a curved ceiling and artistic chandeliers is stylish. The glass enclosed temperature controlled wine vault was a highlight, there is a lovely lounge with a fireplace. A special treat for sure. From the tasting menu in the dining room or a cocktail by the fire, count us in. Great Job to The Plumed Horse!
We made reservations for a romantic dinner in Los Altos, came early and parked nearby. There are a few lots and some street parking, but we had to walk a bit to get to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is beautiful, we had a great table near the wine room and our server was extremely attentive! The tasting menu was extensive with good variety, and we were both quite full afterwards. After our meal, the server offered to take photos of us in the glass wine room, too. Overall, would recommend for a fancy, romantic dinner the ambiance and service is great, and food is as you would expect.
This was definitely a highlight of our dining experiences. Ambiance was great vibe mixed with elegance. I recommend the lounge area. I'm sure the dining area is great too but we tend to be bar seating people. The lounge has sofas and such, not just typical high tops. Service excellence. The food excellence. Just go. Bring your wallet.
For us this a special occasion only restaurant. The bar is when we want to be fancy, but not over the top fancy. Excellent food and service. My wife brought me here the first time for my birthday several years ago and it was truly a delicious experience.
