We had dinner in this bar/restaurant. We liked the atmosphere a lot. It’s a cool bar in which they serve meals. Mainly pizzas and burgers. We order pizzas which were very good. Although their interpretation of pizza margarita was a bit of track. I recommend...the place if you want to have a non standard dinner experience. View all feedback.
What Anaïs Fouquet doesn't like about Chez Antoine:
We had dinner here. The food was okay. The ambience inside the restaurant is super sketchy on one side, okay on the other. The outdoor seating hosts dedicated chain smokers, so that was out. Our waiter never came back after serving us. Our kids are...picky and they actually ate their meals, so we tried to go back another night. We were greeted by incredible rudeness and decided to leave. Beyond rude. I’d give it no s... View all feedback.
We enjoyed our stay here as a family very much! we ordered five different meal times and gloomy and everything was amazin. from pasta to pizza, burger, salads and delicious meat dishes they had really much to offer. the staff was very friendly and fast. would definitely recommend to a friend!
After our booking was ignored elsewhere. we found this place randomly and they took care of 6 of us without problems. nice eating and friendly staff. we are coming back
Ok ok. I know it doesn’t showcase the “regional cuisine” but after a long drive from the Loire Valley this place was right across the street from our hotel and boy did it deliver! It’s hot. There is AC. My mom and I shared a...giant salads and a plate of bolognaise. The food was simple and beyond delicious. The atmosphere is playful and laid back lots of really fun American oldies music. Service was great as well I spoke just enough French and our waitress spoke just enough English to get by and she checked in on us frequently enough without being overbearing.
Away from the more obviously tourist restaurant trail in Sarlat, walk to the end of the more ‘modern’ shopping street to find Chez Antoine. Unpretentious but good cooking, with a menu of pizzas, pastas and hamburgers, along with a few extra meat dishes. My brother...and I (both coeliacs) had bun free burgers made on the premises and thus 100% meat. Pecharmant wine by the carafe goes down well. Excellent petits cafés to finish.
We came for lunch as our children wanted pizza (and a break from duck We got really, genuinely amazing pizza in a relaxed setting. We were able to eat outside on the pleasant terrasse and enjoyed being a bit distanced from the touristic madness of...the medieval town. Our only gripe, which is minor, was slow service, the hôte/waiter was on his own covering the whole restaurant and getting our deserts and l’addition took a while, did I mention the restaurant ambiance is relaxed? We went with the flow and enjoyed our meal. Recommended.
