Booked a nice quiet dinner with friends, atmosphere was great, not loud at all. Wine was normally priced per bottle, decent menu with choices, our steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides on the plate were large and filling, we did not leave hungry. View all feedback.

Great view over looking an amazing golf course and sunset. Perfect surroundings for a perfect night out. Too bad the food didn't measure up. Over cooked, sent it back, came back the same, dry and over cooked Stay away from the food, come for the...More View all feedback.
We found it strange that when we arrived at 7:15 on a Friday night, we were the only two people in the restaurant for about an hour.

My husband and I drove to the Willows to have a nice Friday night dinner at the Il Salici dining room. ordered the special of the night which was a prime rib with fixin's. I ordered my prime rib medium, & when I got my meal, which seemed like within 10 minutes, the prime rib was total inedible. Prime rib should never be tough and have gristle, and this was both. The meat wasn't medium, it was grey - I don't know if it had been microwaved to heat it up or what, but the flavour was terrible. I seriously couldn't chew it. The server was very good and offered to fix something else for me, but by then who cares. She did take my meal off the bill, which was greatly appreciated. My husband had the mac and cheese, and his didn't taste very good either. What's so disappointing, is there are so few really nice dining rooms with great ambiance to go for a quiet evening meal, and then you are served such poor quality food. Maybe they need a new cook, because I couldn't say that meal was prepared by a chef! It will be a long time before we attempt that place again..
We stopped at the Willows for a family occasion lunch. Service was just ok (a few errors) even though the restaurant was almost empty. Fish and chips, beef dip sandwiches, fish was over done and beef dip came with gravy instead of au juis. Pricy for the quality and portion size (small). I was disappointed and would not likely return as there are many better Saskatoon options less off the beaten track.
